So, There’s the guy who lives in a studio in the fair park area, who had this idea, who made this bike. Richard Krall is one of those painfully talented artists who has a knack for looking at something ordinary and doing amazing work with it.
I’ve probably known Richard for 18 years, and during that time he’s always been a great photographer, a furniture builder, a carpenter, metal smith, and now — a custom bike builder. Recently, Richard and I connected to do some rides and he showed me his concept for this bike. It’s even more amazing in person.
The other night I met with Richard at (on Garland Road and N Buckner) and it was amazing to see all of the Harley Davidson folks making conversation about this bike. Frankly, I’m just not surprised… because Richard is just a miserable person until he reaches perfection — and he always gets there!
I’d explain more about the bike, but I think I’ll let Richard do that here soon. Until he let’s me ride it, I’ll just admire his amazing work of art.
P.S. You can also see more work from Richard Krall here
I’ve known Richard for more than 40 years; lived with him for a year and a half in our “groovy little hippie pad”. He is truly a Renaissance Man, in fact, maybe the only one I’ve known. He brought this beautiful creation to our home last Wednesday. It is an impressive machine, and it thrilled me just to sit astride it. Here’s to you Buddy! Keep on thrilling us mere mortals, will ya? GB
I would like to know if this bike is on the market or is it just a prototype. Thanks
It is a custom, one off for him to ride.
