Adopt-a-Pilot
Adopt-a-Pilot is an aviation-related educational program that teaches math, science, geography, language arts, career planning, and presentation skills to fifth grade classes with the help of Southwest Airlines Pilot mentors. In 2005, the Adopt-a-Pilot Blog was Southwest Airlines’ first entry into the blogosphere, providing posts from both pilots and schools in the program.
