There are a lot of reasons for the team to love Melissa. Maybe the biggest reason is because she’s the one person who does not give Chris an inch. And it’s absolutely hilarious watching her keep Chris in check every day! That said, she’s got a “take no prisoner” attitude and carries the RD2 spirit flag all the way. Melissa came to RD2 with a “team first” mentality. It’s evident that she’s keenly aware that the talent leaves the building each and every day. She works tirelessly on the needs of the team, focusing on their personal growth, their HR-related needs, and their needs for success. Additionally, she’s not afraid to address the difficult task of challenging each and every process. There are no sacred cows in Melissa’s book. She’s always looking for improvement from everyone including herself. She just expects it. A company like RD2 has its own complexities. Long-term projects of different shapes and sizes, some of which are many thousands of miles away. Melissa handles the financial side associated with all accounts (clients and other). It’s a balancing act, but she does it with grace and finesse. When not at RD2, Melissa is the mother to Madeline and Sean. They are always hungry, have lots of energy, and can be a bit hot tempered and extremely demanding. Sound familiar, Chris? Melissa is also devoted to her animals. She has a black labrador, Bella, and a yellow labrador, Charlie. Charlie is now 14 years old and he thinks Melissa is his mother. Charlie has been part of RD2 since the garage days.
