CoServ has a unique business model - CoServ is a not-for-profit Electric cooperative that works hand-in-hand with CoServ Gas, a for-profit gas utility. As the second largest electric co-op in Texas, CoServ Electric’s customers are also its members. Customers have a voice to vote on the leadership of the company, and receive capital credits, which are similar to stock dividends for shareholders.
